LOC has negotiated a special rates starting from CND$169 per night for ICMMES participants with the Fairmont Hotel Macdonald, the most prestigious and stylish hotel in Edmonton city proper. The hotel has easy access via Light Rail Transit (LRT) to the conference venue at the University of Alberta. •  Dormitory in the University of Alberta

Dorm type rooms have been blocked for ICMMES participants in the Lister Centre (building 101 on the University of Alberta Campus map, also see the website about conference services). This is a relatively affordable accommodation option (price range CDN$ 49 to 65 per night) within walking distance of the conference venue (the Engineering Teaching and Learning Complex, building 23 on the campus map). Reservation should be made directly with the Lister Centre by filling out and faxing the reservation form. A block of rooms in the Lister Centre reserved by ICMMES will be released by Thursday, June 10, 2010. After June 10, you can still reserve rooms in the Lister Centre based on availability.
